If you are unable to attend our Yoga class for Miriam, but would like to honor her with a donation…we thank you!
Miriam “Miri” Klau died on January 9, 2021 of a drug overdose following a long struggle with addiction, narcolepsy and mental illness. Born in Boston, she was 26 and the beloved daughter of Jennifer and Daniel Klau of West Hartford.
Miri was a passionate artist who loved glassblowing and metal work. She was a talented musician and vocalist who brought family and friends to tears whenever she performed.
Despite her challenges, Miri always put others’ needs before her own.
Miriam and her family’s struggles are the same stories playing out in millions of families across this country. If you or someone you love may be at risk for suicide, there are things you can do to help…talk to someone you trust.
