This workshop is for anyone interested in exploring what mindfulness is and how to start practicing it. Mindfulness Meditation is especially beneficial to reduce stress and anxiety by learning to be more present and less reactive in your daily life.

About Molly:

Molly Newberry has been practicing mindfulness meditation since she first explored the practice of Vipassana meditation at the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, founded by Tara Brach in 1997, nearly ten years ago. She has attended retreats with the Insight Meditation Community of Washington and the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. She is dedicated to continued learning and recently completed an intensive two-year mindfulness meditation teacher certification program led by her beloved teachers, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Molly is looking forward to introducing you to this mindfulness practice, helping you deepen your existing practice or simply enjoying practicing together in community.
