Yoga, when practiced with healthy alignment of the spine and joints, has been proven to improve bone density, ease the pain of arthritis, and promote joint health.
In this two hour workshop we will:
  • Practice key poses that “awaken” bone cells causing them to build healthy bone.
  • Creatively use props to promote ideal joint alignment and ease of practice.
  • Learn about the anatomy of your spine and joints

About Your Instructor:
Robin Kirsche, E-RYT, Certified Yoga Therapist, PTA, has a Masters in Public Health and fifteen years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. Robin is certified in Yoga for Osteoporosis and Yoga for Arthritis by Loren Fishman MD. Robin has been teaching and practicing yoga for over thirty years. She started doing yoga in order to manage her own back pain and continues to find the practice essential in maintaining the health of her body, mind and spirit. She is grateful to share her knowledge and experience with others.
