Welcome to Yoga From The Heart

Our community is located in the heart of West Hartford Center, where you will find our tranquil studio a home to everyone, who is on or beginning their yoga journey. We encourage a joyful practice where you can explore, release, and get to know what makes your soul happy. Our classes range from beginner through advanced, with restorative, yin, core, power, innovative hybrids and exclusive workshops. We believe YOGA is for everybody and every BODY!

Experience the benefits of yoga…flexibility, muscle strength, better posture & balance, stress relief, better sleep, immunity boost, pain relief, better focus & energy, community and happiness!

At YFTH, our goal is to bring the benefits of yoga to our community in as many ways as possible. With time constraints, physical limitations, and Yoga goals, a custom session may be the perfect match for you. Now Introducing….TRIBE YOGA!

Choose from Gentle through Power, with Restorative, Yin, Yoga Basics, Yoga for Stress, and fusion classes. We provide the ambiance…candlelight, aromatherapy, heat, and great playlists!

Our always evolving events, series, and workshops bring you community gatherings from yoga hikes to meditations. Every season will bring a new vibe to the assortment, whether you’re a newbie, want to stand on your head or be out in nature…we got you covered.

Yoga From The Heart is offering four safe ways to practice with us. Our in-studio classes allow for 6 students, 12 feet distanced to practice with a mask. Live-stream classes via zoom bring yoga to the comfort of your own home and our outdoor classes are scheduled through October. We just launched our Video On-Demand, which has an extensive collection of over 40 videos with 6-8 new added every month, to watch anytime, anywhere! You may prefer a private session or a small group class customized for you. Signing up for classes through MindBody online is required for attendance. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time. Please wear a mask coming and going, follow social distancing, bring a mat and any props you may like, stay home if you are sick, and spread kindness to each other!

  • Please note…our classes will all move into Virtual, on Zoom, for the 2 weeks following Thanksgiving to support our community after holiday travel and gatherings.
  • UPDATE: Unfortunately, the rise in cases in our area is continuing to climb. To ensure the safety of all of you, our YFTH teachers and in support of all the doctors, nurses and first responders working tirelessly on the frontline, we will be temporarily extending our in studio closure into January. At this time, we do not have a specific January reopening date for in studio classes, but are filled with hope that as the year winds down and a New Year begins, we are steps closer to better days!
  • In the meantime, please join us for our Live Stream classes on Zoom, as well as our Video On Demand library!!

And from all of us at YFTH, thank you for your support and patience as we move forward as a community!

I can’t recommend Diane’s classes enough! She is warm, friendly, encouraging and her classes are my favorite kind—challenging vinyasa flows with fun transitions and new sequences each and every time. And such a positive energy! I leave every class revitalized, sweaty, and knowing I’ll be feeling it the next day. I love how she pays attention to everyone’s skill level and makes adjustments so you can power up or power down helping everyone find their edge regardless of where they are in their practice. Plus, she regularly throws new and more advanced expressions of poses in the mix keeping class (and yoga, in general!) fresh and exciting. I can’t say enough positive things about Diane and her classes!

Thank you for being so authentic in your Yoga practice. I am grateful for the open-hearted practice you lead.

Words really can not express how grateful I am to you. Your beautiful soul, your words, your kind heart truly helped me to get through some tough days and also helped me notice the good ones. Your story, the loss of your niece, and decision to stay with your teacher training during such a difficult time inspired me tor econsider my decision to quit! Thank you for being you, for sharing your heart, for reminding me that no matter what happens, I can get through with an open heart, my practice and surrounding myself with love
